About Dr. P.C. SenDr. P. C. Sen was an esteemed public health professional of the country. An award instituted in his name is conferred upon the author of the best original article on Rural Health Practice, following successful submission and presentation at the venue of the annual conference. The best research paper is also published in the Indian Journal of Public Health in a subsequent issue.

- For limitation of words for abstract and main article, number of tables and figures, style of references author can follow the guidelines from IJPH website by following the link: https://journals.lww.com/IJPH/Pages/informationforauthors.aspx
- A self-declaration form that the article has not been published in any offline or online journal, archive or other media should be uploaded separately.
- The author's name should not be included in the body of the article. This will be mentioned separately at the time of submission.
- The article must follow the main theme of the award category otherwise it should be rejected.
- The submission deadline for both award paper categories is 30th September 2025.
- The submitted article should not have been published in any journal or publication.
- Only the first author will be invited to present. The award will be awarded to the first author of the paper only.
- If the paper is accepted, the author should be present at the conference venue to give the presentation in physical mode. Conference registration is also mandatory.
- The winning original article will be published in the IJPH Conference Issue (2026).

About Dr. S. D. GaurLong back, IPHA had initiated Best Paper Award on “Environmental Health Practice” named after Dr. S. D. Gaur. The final competition is held every year at the Annual National Conference of IPHA. Members can showcase their research papers on environmental health.
