Types of Memberships
Indian Public Health Association (IPHA)* offers two types of membership
1. Life Members*
Benefits:
* Lifetime membership validity
* Discounted registration fees to attend IPHACON
* Exclusive Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions for members
* Digital access to the Indian Journal of Public Health (IJPH) — four regular issues annually along with all special issues
* Reduction in Article Processing Charges (APCs) for members’ scholarly work published in the IJPH, the esteemed indexed journal of the Association
*Life Membership Fee:* ₹5,000 + applicable GST 18% (₹ 900)
(Subject to change as per the decision of the Central Council)
2. Fellow Members*
The Association may elect and award ‘Fellowship’ to such life members who will fulfil the criteria laid down from time to time in the form of regulation for being elected as “Fellow” of the Association. All such fellows shall be eligible to suffix their names with Fellow Indian Public Health Association.
Regarding the nomination of fellow, the Credential Committee, formed by the Central Council, will first screen the nominations for the award of fellowship. Based on their recommendations, the names will be circulated to all the existing fellows of the Association for voting through online to be elected finally. If any proposed fellow receives less than 50% of the total votes polled, his/ her name will not be considered for the Award. “
