Eligibility Criteria & Regulations for Award of 'Fellowship'

Eligibility for award of 'Fellowship' Other criteria Who are eligible to vote?
1. Minimum 10 Year of membership of IPHA

2. Attended at least 3 National Conferences of IPHA (certificate)

3. Minimum 5 Publications in indexed Journal – and should be amongst First 3 Authors
Or
Organising Secretary of a National Conference of IPHA
Or
Resource person for National Health programmes at District level and above for at least 5 batches of trainees
Or
Principal Investigator of at least 2 research projects/ evaluations funded by State/ National/International bodies carried out at district level and above
Or
Served as Executive body/CC member at National or State Level with minimum 3 years work and significant contribution to IPHA or Public Health (applicable only to paramedical, nursing personnel, health educators etc).
Nominations must be Proposed & Seconded By only Fellow Members. All the existing fellows of the Association

AWARD OF IPHA FELLOWSHIP

  • If any proposed fellow receives less than 50% (fifty percent) of the total votes polled, his / her name will not be considered for the award.
  • Hardcopy of the application along with all relevant documents should reach at HQ office (110 Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata – 700073) on or before 14th November, 2026.
  • The application must be physically signed in ink by the applicant, the proposer, and the seconder. Digitally signed, scanned, or printed signature copies will not be accepted.
  • A nomination fee of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) has to be submitted by the applicants at the time of submission of application.

  • After the fellowship election a fee of Rs. 10,000/- should be paid by all new elected Fellow members.
